Accreditation for UEFA Executive Committee meeting

109 – Designation of UEFA EURO 2012™ host cities in Ukraine on 11 December

The UEFA Executive Committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, will hold its last meeting of the year in Funchal, Madeira Island, Portugal, in the afternoon of Thursday 10 December and in the morning of Friday 11 December 2009.

The meeting will be held at the Reid's Palace Hotel, Estrada Monumental 139, 9000-098 Funchal, and is scheduled to take place from 14:00 to 17:00 local time on Thursday and from 09:00 to 12:00 local on Friday. The meeting will be followed by a press conference at approximately 12:15 local time in the same location.

The topics to be discussed by the UEFA Executive Committee, in addition to the designation of UEFA EURO 2012™ host cities in Ukraine, will be communicated nearer the time.

Media representatives wishing to attend the press conference must apply for accreditation by emailing accreditations@uefa.ch no later than Friday 04 December with "UEFA Exco Madeira" mentioned in the subject header.

TV and radio broadcasters having special needs (i.e. live reporting, parking of OB trucks, etc) should include a description of their planned activities in their accreditation application, in order to allow UEFA to help in arranging the necessary facilities where possible.
