Ahead of a new UEFA Champions League campaign, UEFA is proud to boast a full complement of sponsors for the 2009-2012 cycle in European football's most prestigious club competition.

With the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League season kicking off with the draw for the first and second qualifying rounds at the House of European Football in Nyon on Monday, UEFA can boast a full complement of sponsors for the 2009-2012 cycle in European football's most prestigious club competition.

Six-sponsor concept
The six-sponsor concept, introduced for the 2006-2009 period, remains for the new cycle. Of the previous partner group, five maintain their commitment to the UEFA Champions League and have renewed for the 2009-2012 period. These include Heineken, Sony, MasterCard, PlayStation and Ford. A new name to add to the list is the banking partner UniCredit.

Strength and quality
Commenting on the 2009-2012 sponsorship programme, UEFA General Secretary David Taylor said: "The level of support from our sponsor partners for this new cycle is testament to the strength of the UEFA Champions League and the quality of football played during the competition.

Promotional activities
