'Wish-list'
The clubs have not disclosed a transfer fee for the left-sided player, but the chairman of the Bayern board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: "We are really happy about having Danijel. He can play in a lot of positions and was one of the top players on Louis van Gaal's wish-list." The 22-times capped international scored 32 goals in 129 league games for Heerenveen in four seasons after joining from NK Dinamo Zagreb. He was part of Heerenveen's Dutch Cup-winning team of 2009.
