The Croatia forward Ivica Olić is set to leave Hamburger SV for FC Bayern München as a free agent on 1 July after agreeing a three-year contract with the German champions.
Dubai training
Speaking upon the team's arrival in Dubai for a winter training camp, Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness said: "We've struck an agreement. All we need now is the signatures under the contract." Olić, who joined Hamburg in January 2007 after a successful spell with PFC CSKA Moskva, added: "I'll do everything I can to mark my departure from Hamburg with a trophy." HSV are also in Dubai, preparing for the resumption of the Bundesliga on 30 January when they entertain a Bayern side who sit two places and two points above them at the halfway point. Olić has scored eleven international goals in 61 appearances for Croatia.
