Voting for the uefa.com users' Team of 2008 has closed with the all-star team – selected by you from a list of 60 players and coaches who have shone in the last 12 months – to be revealed on Wednesday 21 January at 12.00CET.
Eighth edition
The poll, now in its eighth year, allowed users to select their choice of players and coaches in 12 positions from a group of nominees picked by uefa.com's staff writers on the basis of their displays for club and country in 2008. uefa.com editorial manager Massimo Gonnella said: "We feel that the users' final list will represent an accurate reflection of the best performers of the past year." In total, 20 clubs had players or coaches involved, while 14 members of Spain's UEFA EURO 2008™-winning squad, including coach Luis Aragonés, were nominated.
