Goal glut
The 25-year-old Austrian international received 28 out of a possible 50 points to take the title ahead of SK Sturm Graz midfielder Samir Muratović (21 points) and SK Rapid Wien's Steffen Hofmann (eleven). Scorer of 29 goals in 19 Bundesliga games this season, he follows in the footsteps of last year's winner Ivica Vastic of LASK Linz. "This is a really incredible story," he said. "I wouldn't have believed it was possible a year ago, when I was just coming back from injury."
