Zé Castro given Deportivo chance

UEFA Intertoto Cup third-round entrants RC Deportivo la Coruña have taken Club Atlético de Madrid's Portuguese defender Zé Castro on loan for the 2008/09 season. The 25-year-old has made 30 Primera División appearances since leaving A. Académica de Coimbra in 2006 but only eight of those came last season. Deportivo have the option of buying the former Portugal Under-21 international during the next four years.
