Zenit fined for fans' conduct

FC Zenit St. Petersburg have been fined CHF60,000 (€36,880) by UEFA for their fans' conduct at the UEFA Cup match with Olympique de Marseille on 12 March.

Fans' behaviour
Zenit, who went on to win the UEFA Cup last season, were fined for the racist conduct of their supporters at the match, as well as for the use of pyrotechnical devices and the displaying of a political banner by their fans. An appeal may be lodged within three days of receipt of the grounds for the decision.
