The former Grêmio FPA player joined Barcelona in 2003 from Paris Saint-Germain FC and helped the Catalan side win the Primera División twice as well as the UEFA Champions League in 2006.

A FIFA World Cup winner in 2002, Ronaldinho, who has scored 32 goals in 82 appearances for Brazil, will join countrymen Dida, Emerson, Kaká and Pato at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Ronaldinho will be Milan's second signing from Barcelona this summer, having previously brought in Italy full-back Gianluca Zambrotta, in addition to Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer from Arsenal FC.
