The three players, all of whom were loaned to other clubs by Benfica last season, have signed two-year deals with Marítimo, who will participate in the 2008/09 UEFA Cup first round after finishing fifth in the Portuguese Liga last season. Paulo Jorge is a 27-year-old left-sided midfielder who can play as full back and Manú, 25, is a winger. João Coimbra, a product of the Benfica youth system, is a 22-year-old central midfielder.
