AS Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi is on course to spend a decade in the Giallorossi first team after extending his contract until 2012.
Roma stalwart
The Italian international has signed a three-year extension to underline his commitment to the capital club where he started his Serie A career in 2002/03. The academy product, now 24, has made 155 top-flight appearances for Roma, scoring 17 goals, with his progress also being rewarded by 36 Italy caps. He struck the Azzurri's second goal in their UEFA EURO 2008™ victory over France. Second in Serie A last term, De Rossi and Roma will compete in the UEFA Champions League group stage next season.
