Ever-present
Although the club revealed no details of the terms, describing it merely as "long term", the 22-year-old full-back will remain at the London club beyond June 2010 when his previous contract was due to expire. Fellow full-back Sagna and midfielder Song, both underlined their commitment to the club earlier this month. Clichy joined the north London side from AS Cannes at the beginning of the 2003/04 campaign and became the youngest ever recipient of a Premier League winners' medal at the end of the same season. Last term he appeared in all 38 of Arsenal's Premier League matches, starting all bar one.
