'Wonderful years'
The 35-year-old Czech, whose previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, penned the agreement after training today. "I took this decision knowing that I have spent seven wonderful years here, and because I have the desire to play in Europe again with a team whom I am deeply bound to."
EURO chance?
Having won Serie B last term, Juve have already secured third place in the top flight this season to seal a return to the UEFA Champions League in the summer. Nedvěd, the 2003 European Footballer of the Year, has scored twice in 30 league outings in 2007/08, prompting speculation in his homeland that he may be tempted out of international retirement to play at UEFA EURO 2008™.
