Ineligible player
The Lisbon side were punished for fielding 27-year-old striker Albert Meyong in a Liga game against A. Naval 1º de Maio on 13 January. The Cameroon international had joined Belenenses on a six-month loan from UD Levante, but was ineligible to play having already represented two clubs this season – Albacete Balompié and Levante. Meyong came on as a 55th-minute substitute and scored the winner in a 2-1 victory, but this game has now been awarded to Naval with Belenenses being deducted a further three points as punishment. The extra three points lift Naval from 13th to tenth place in the 16-team table.
