SC Heerenveen have signed Norwegian international midfielder Christian Grindheim from Vålerenga IF for an undisclosed fee.
European experience
The 24-year-old has agreed a deal at the Dutch Eredivisie club starting immediately and running until the summer of 2012. Grindheim, who can play as a central or right-sided midfielder, joined Vålerenga in 2005 and made 70 league appearances, scoring seven times. Capped on 15 occasions by his country, he has also been involved in seven UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League qualifying games.
