Thuram contemplates retirement

France's most-capped player Lilian Thuram will call time on his international career if Les Bleus fail to reach UEFA EURO 2008™. The 35-year-old FC Barcelona defender, who has 134 caps and is in the squad for Friday's friendly against Morocco and the qualifying Group B trip to Ukraine on 21 November, said: "If we don't qualify, it's over. I'd prefer to retire after the final of the [UEFA] European Championship, but most of the time you don't get to choose your end."
