Portuguese Liga strugglers UD Leiria have unveiled Vítor Oliveira as their new coach for a second time, following yesterday's resignation of Paulo Duarte.
Second spell
The 53-year-old, who previously took charge in 1997/98, returns after two successful years at Leixões SC, whom he guided to top-flight promotion last season. "I hope I can achieve the success I managed back in 1998 when we won the second division championship. If we work hard together I believe we can move off the bottom of the Liga," said Oliveira. Leiria are two points adrift at the foot of the standings, having drawn three and lost six of their nine outings.
