Fleeting landmark
Scotland hit the ground running as Kerr put the visitors ahead after just two minutes and it was soon 2-0 as another of their longest-serving players, Hamill, found her way past the home defence. Buoyed by the two-goal cushion Scotland put on a confident display and captain Fleeting completed her century in the second half, and was presented with a pair of golden boots by her sponsors after the game. "We are delighted with the scoreline," said Scotland coach Anna Signeul. "We played really good football, created many chances and scored three great goals."
Denmark encounter
The win took Scotland into second place in the section, a point ahead of Denmark and today's opponents - who go to Portugal on 16 February - and five points behind leaders Ukraine. Denmark have two games in hand, but visit Scotland at McDiarmid Park on Wednesday when Fleeting is set to win her 100th cap and Scottish Football Association (SFA) chief executive Gordon Smith will make a special presentation before the game. The SFA will also reward Fleeting for her goals landmark prior to the UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier between Scotland and Italy at Hampden Park on 17 November.
