The 27-year-old sat out much of last season after injuring the same calf six times, although he finally recovered to feature in recent matches against Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona and Real Zaragoza. With the player's problems seemingly behind him, coach José Ángel Ziganda handed him a starting place at the Reyno de Navarra last night, only for Delporte to limp off 26 minutes into the 4-1 Primera División defeat of Levante UD. The tear was confirmed today and Delporte was ruled out for four weeks, a figure which could change depending on further tests.
