Ideal replacement
The 24-year-old forward arrives in Warsaw on a season's loan from Monomotapa United of Harare, with Legia having the option of a permanent transfer next summer. "Following the departure of Piotr Włodarczyk, we were in the market for a powerful, dynamic striker. In Takesure Chinyama, we should have all these qualities," said Legia sporting director Mirosław Trzeciak. Chinyama spent the second half of last term on loan at another Polish top-flight club, Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski, scoring three goals in eleven Ekstraklasa matches. Włodarczyk was sold to champions Zagłębie for €200,000 on Monday.
