Kader Keita says he feels "no extra pressure" after Olympique Lyonnais confirmed they paid a club-record €18m to sign the Ivory Coast winger from LOSC Lille Métropole.

'Job to do'
The fee paid for Keita surpasses the €16m spent on Sonny Anderson from FC Barcelona, making the 25-year-old the French champions' most expensive recruit. "I am not really bothered and just want to do my job," said Keita. "To become their biggest signing means no extra pressure, that is something for the two clubs to decide. We have been in touch for a year and I really wanted to stay in France because I love this league."

'Investing in French football'
Making the same journey from Lille to the Stade de Gerland is Mathieu Bodmer, with the 24-year-old midfielder arriving in exchange for €6.5m. "If I had to leave Lille, it was going to be for a big club. This is the perfect springboard for the France national team," he said. Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas added: "It is a major investment and we are proud that the money is going to a French team and back into French football."
