Roma buy Inter's share in Pizarro

The 27-year-old played for Roma last season but the club shared ownership with Inter. The former Santiago Wanderers FC player joined Udinese Calcio in 1999 and. after impressing at the Friuli Stadium. - under current Roma coach Luciano Spalletti - moved to Inter in a €10m deal in 2005. After failing to win a regular starting slot in his first season, Pizarro rejoined Spalletti at Roma and was a key figure for the Giallorossi as they won the Coppa Italia, finished second in Serie A and reached the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, playing 46 games in all competitions and scoring five goals.
