Norway have been one of the top sides in international women's football for much of the past two decades. It is no accident, though. The country has actively sought to increase female participation in the sport over the last 30 years and have enjoyed obvious success - there are now 110,000 registered players in Norway, up from 50 in 1976. We investigate.
