Victory enough
Both teams have just two points to their name and must win their final matches in a fortnight's time to reach the Round of 32. Mladá Boleslav have to get the better of Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC in Israel while PSG need to defeat already-qualified Group G leaders Panathinaikos FC.
Wasted chances
The French side were the first to carve out an opportunity at the Mestský Stadium but Clément Chantôme was indecisive, eventually sending an effort sailing harmlessly over the bar when a pass might have been the better option. At the other end, the Czech hosts were equally wasteful. Marek Matějovský shot tamely at Mickaël Landreau in the 12th minute, before Tomáš Poláček failed to trouble the keeper from distance and Marian Palát fired wide following a corner.
Diane dismissed
Mladá Boleslav's hopes of a first group-stage win were boosted when PSG were reduced to ten men close to half-time as Diané was shown a second yellow card. However, on the hour they squandered another chance when a fine delivery from Poláček's free-kick was not given the finish it deserved by Marek Kulič. David Hellebuyck offered some PSG resistance with a left-footed attempt that was turned behind by Miroslav Miller when seemingly bound for the net, yet it was the hosts who had the final flourish as Mario Yepes bravely blocked Jan Rajnoch's goalbound header.
