Training today
The 21-year-old left-back passed medical tests last night and was set to link up with his new team-mates for the first time today. Alcántara, who joined Villarreal from Nueva Vanguardia Alcantarilla CF in 2002, made just three league appearances last season but started both legs of the UEFA Intertoto Cup third-round defeat by NK Maribor in July.
