News Round-Up:FC Dynamo Kyiv are mourning the death of former player and coach Anatoli Puzach who died at the weekend aged 65.

Former FC Dynamo Kyiv player and coach Anatoli Puzach has died at the age of 65. Puzach helped Dynamo win four league titles and one cup as a player, and the striker won 14 caps for the former Soviet Union, scoring two goals. Puzach was assistant to celebrated coach Valeriy Lobanovskiy at Dynamo before taking charge of the team. He led them to their 13th league title in 1990 and their first championship win in the independent Ukraine two years later.

Latvian top-flight newcomers SK Ditton have signed four new players in a bid to strengthen their squad. The new arrivals are 29-year-old Latvian international defender Māris Smirnovs and three Russian imports - Aleksandr Sonin, Dmitri Kudryashov and Vladimir Skokov.

Lufa Kadoash has stepped down as coach of Israeli First Division side Hapoel Bnei Sakhnin FC following their 2-0 defeat against Bnei Yehuda Tel-Aviv FC on Saturday. Despite the reverse, leaving the club one off the bottom of the table, the departing coach remains confident they can escape relegation. "Even though we lost the last three, Sakhnin could still avoid relegation and I hope they do so with my successor," said Kadoash.
