Henry homes in on leaders

ESM Golden Shoe: Thierry Henry's record-breaking form for Arsenal FC has seen him leap three places, and Ruud van Nistelrooij is also on the rise.

The Premiership's two leading strikers are the biggest movers in the ESM Golden Shoe standings. Ruud van Nistelrooij's two goals for Manchester United FC against Blackburn Rovers FC saw him move into joint third, while Thierry Henry enjoyed a momentous week in Arsenal FC colours.

Henry landmarks
The Frenchman became the London club's record league goalscorer in midweek and then fired his 200th goal in just 321 Arsenal appearances as they won 2-0 at Birmingham City FC on Saturday. Those strikes saw him rise three places to joint seventh but he remains some distance from the summit.

Toni lead
ACF Fiorentina's Luca Toni continues to lead the way, the Italy striker taking his Serie A tally to 22 in 23 games as the Viola defeated US Lecce 1-0. With Tarmo Neemelo no longer in league action, the Italian now holds an eight-point lead over Van Nistelrooij, David Trezeguet and Samuel Eto'o.

*Season finished

Only the leading five countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England) in the UEFA coefficient rankings have two as their multiplier. This is to emphasise the difference in international performance level between clubs from those countries and those from the other countries.
A player cannot first play in a summer league (eg Norway) and then in a winter league (eg Spain) and combine the points total for each season.
