'I'm OK'
Vicente missed much of last season with an injury to his left ankle, being restricted to 12 league appearances. However, he has played an important role in Valencia's recent run of form that has seen them climb to third in the table, and is positive about making a quick comeback. "I'm quite optimistic," he said. "It hurts, but I'm OK."
February return
The Spanish international is expected to return by the end of next month, with the problem not appearing to affect his chances of playing in the FIFA World Cup finals.
