League debut The 20-year-old made his Primera División debut when appearing as a 39th-minute substitute for Leo Franco in the 1-1 draw against Athletic Club Bilbao on 3 December. Tough season "Things are working out for me and when I arrived at the club no one thought I would get this far," said Falcón, signed last season from Cádiz CF. "I had a tough season before I joined Atlético but I never gave up." Leo Franco has a thigh injury but should be back before the winter break begins on 21 December.
