Serie A newcomers Treviso FC have signed midfielders Antonio and Emanuele Filippini from US Città di Palermo for an undisclosed fee. The 32-year-old twin brothers played last season on loan at S.S. Lazio after spending most of their careers at Brescia Calcio. Earlier this month Treviso also recruited 24-year-old Brazilian forward André Pinga from Torino Calcio and defenders Stefano Lorenzi (28) and Andrea Dossena (23) from Atalanta BC and Hellas-Verona FC respectively.

Defender Yuriy Dmytrulin may make his debut for FC Tavriya Simferopol this weekend after joining the club on loan from FC Dynamo Kyiv until the end of the season. The 30-year-old, capped 36 times by Ukraine, links up with former Dynamo captain Olexandr Golovko at Tavriya, who are currently ninth in the Ukrainian table.

In England, promoted Sunderland AFC will be without 25-year-old defender Stephen Wright for three months after he damaged knee ligaments in training. Meanwhile, fellow Premiership newcomers West Ham United FC have released 33-year-old Scotland defender Malky Mackay by mutual consent.

Midfielder Domingo Nagore has cancelled the remaining year of his contract with Primera División RCD Mallorca. The 31-year-old transferred to the Balearic club from Club Atlético de Madrid in 2003 but was loaned to RC Celta de Vigo last season. He is now expected to sign for second division Levante UD.

Blackburn Rovers FC's Welsh international forward Craig Bellamy will be sidelined for up to four weeks with a thigh injury. The 26-year-old, who struggled with an ankle complaint during the English club's pre-season, had to withdraw from the Wales squad to play Slovenia this week because of the problem.

UEFA Champions League contenders Wisla Kraków have loaned Grzegorz Kmiecik to Polish top-flight newcomers GKS Belchatow for 2005/06. The 21-year-old striker returned to Wisla this summer following a similar spell at GKS Katowice. He will be ineligible to play competitive games against Wisla.
