Milito makes Zaragoza pledge

Argentinian international centre-back Gabriel Milito has committed his future to Real Zaragoza until June 2010.

Liverpool interest
With UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool FC reportedly keen to capture the highly-rated defender, Zaragoza have agreed to Milito's demand for renewed terms. He has penned a three-year extension to his previous deal.

Star player
The 24-year-old has been one of Zaragoza's star players since moving to La Romareda from CA Independiente in summer 2003. Milito had initially been brought to Spain by Real Madrid CF, who decided against signing him following a medical.
