Three-year deal
The 22-year-old midfielder has agreed a three-year contract with the Ligue 1 team as they bid to avoid a relegation battle next season. Metz narrowly maintained their top-flight status last term, finishing two points above the drop zone.
International class
Huszti scored three goals in 24 games in 2004/05 as Ferencváros took the runners-up spot in the Hungarian First Division. He also made eight international appearances, registering three goals including a late winner in Iceland last month that kept Hungary's FIFA World Cup qualifying hopes alive.
Aim to progress
"I chose the French championship because it provides the perfect environment to progress to the top level," he said. "My aim is to earn my place in this team and show the coach that he's right to have confidence in me."
