Catching the eye
The left-back, who turned 19 in January, is considered one of the brightest prospects to have emerged from Levante's youth ranks having joined the club five years ago. He is also a Spanish Under-20 international who impressed at this month's FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands.

Attacking intent
The attack-minded José Enrique is tipped to contest the left-back slot with Fábio Aurélio once veteran Amedeo Carboni retires after the 2005/06 campaign. He said: "I am delighted to be joining one of the world's best clubs. It would be a dream come true to make my debut for Valencia in the UEFA Intertoto Cup."
