"After long talks with the president and the players I decided to stay," said Courbis, who led Olympique de Marseille to the 1998/99 UEFA Cup final. Ajaccio have also announced the signing of Brazilian Under-21 international Antônio Carlos from Fluminense FC. The 21-year-old centre-back arrives on a five-year deal.
