Title triumph
Deco has signed up until 2010 with the Spanish champions, who have increased the buy-out clause in the 27-year-old's contract to €75m following his successful first season at the Camp Nou. Deco played 35 league games, scoring six goals, as Barça won their first Primera División title in six years.
Porto glory
The Brazilian-born player arrived in the Catalan capital on a four-year deal in July 2004, having lifted the UEFA Cup and European Champion Clubs' Cup in successive campaigns with FC Porto. He becomes the third Barcelona player to sign a new contract, following the examples of Xavi Hernández and youngster Damiá.
