Article body
First prize
Jørn Willy Andersen chose Ingvild Stensland as Player of the Match for the Norway-Italy game on 12 June. His name was then selected at random from all the entries correctly predicting Players of the Match throughout the tournament - making him the lucky winner of a luxury weekend for two in England's north-west including a trip to an English Premiership game.
Blackburn tickets
Andersen will receive two tickets for a Blackburn Rovers FC fixture at Ewood Park, venue for the EURO final in which Germany triumphed over Norway, as well as a two-night stay at the Stanley House Hotel near Blackburn, regarded as one of the Lancashire region's finest residences.
Cradle of the game
The 23-year-old, who hails from Fredrikstad, about 100km south of Oslo, will bring his father with him. And although Andersen Jr supports Blackburn's Premiership rivals Manchester City FC, he is already looking forward to seeing the cradle of football. "I haven't visited England before but my father has, so he will be some kind of guide," he said.
Sports fan
Andersen no longer plays football but has refereed since 1999. "I like most sports and watch all the biggest events on television," he added. More than 650 fans took part in the UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2005™ Player of the Match competition and uefa.com would like to thank you all for your participation, helping to make it a tournament to remember.
