NK Zrinjski have won their first-ever Bosnia-Herzegovnian title to claim a place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
Final victory
Having led the table since the start of the season, Franjo Dzidic's side put the seal on their success with a 2-1 home win against NK Orašje on Sunday. Zoran Rajovic's 77th-minute penalty proved to be the decisive goal as Zrinjski built up a decisive eleven-point advantage over second-placed NK Željeznicar.
No let-up
Sarajevo-based Željeznicar handed the title to their Mostar-based rivals on Saturday as they lost 2-0 at NK Travnik, but Dzidic has promised that his team will not let up now they are champions. "We have made constant progress throughout the season and have deserved to win the title early," he said. "In the last three rounds we will play with real style."
