A Bruno Ribeiro goal two minutes into extra time proved enough for Vitória FC to defeat nine-man Boavista FC 2-1 in the Portuguese Cup semi-finals.
Left-foot strike
The Setúbal midfield player scored the decisive goal in the 92nd minute, picking up possession outside the Boavista penalty area and shooting into the net with his left foot to decide an even tie. Setúbal will play the winners of Wednesday night's second semi-final, between second division CF Estrela da Amadora and holders SL Benfica.
First-half goals
The first half of tonight's semi-final was closly contested but it was the visitors who struck first, Zé Manel opening the scoring from the penalty spot. The Setúbal side responded well and Meyong got the equaliser in the 37th minute after a cross from Bruno Ribeiro.
Fine winner
The home team missed a great chance to take the lead nine minutes after half-time after Meyong shot wide from the penalty spot. In the 79th minute Boavista's João Pedro was sent off for a second yellow card and, although Jaime Pacheco's team forced the game into extra time, Bruno Ribeiro's strike two minutes into the additional 30 minutes settled the tie. Boavista, meanwhile, finished two men short as Tiago was subsequently sent off.
