Holders SL Benfica moved through to the Portuguese Cup final, where they will play Vitória FC, after a 3-0 win away against second division CF Estrela da Amadora.
Benfica boom
The Lisbon side broke through in the 36th minute, with a fine header from Nuno Gomes after a cross from Geovanni. Benfica got their second goal in the 65th minute with another header, this time from Nuno Assis.
Nuno Gomes glee
In the 73rd minute Nuno Gomes scored his second and assured Benfica's progress to the final for the second year in a row, while Brazilian central defender André Luis made his first appearance in the Lisbon club's first team. The final will be played on the 29 May at the Estádio Nacional.
