The 24-year-old was contracted until 2006 but will now stay at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion until the summer of 2007 after producing consistently impressive performances. Stuttgart are third in the Bundesliga, four points above Werder Bremen in the battle for a UEFA Champions League place.
