Transfer round-up: Striker Veljko Paunovic has quit Club Atlético de Madrid by mutual consent.

Hungarian team Debreceni VSC have signed Serbo-Montenegrin international Miloš Kolakovic from OFK Beograd. The 30-year-old striker, who helped his club to the 2004 UEFA Intertoto Cup semi-finals and has been capped three times, has agreed a four-and-half year contract. He will join compatriot Igor Bogdanovic at the side currently second in the Hungarian First Division.

Former French international Bernard Diomède has signed for US Créteil Lusitanos Football on a free transfer. The 31-year-old, part of the 1998 FIFA World Cup winning squad, has been without a club since leaving AC Ajaccio in June and has sealed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Ligue 2 side.

Georgian international forward Lado Akhalaia has moved from FC Dinamo Tbilisi to FC Zürich. The 22-year-old has penned a one-year deal with an option for two further seasons with the Swiss club. Also moving to Switzerland is 33-year-old former Georgian international Mikheil Kavelashvili who, after spells with several other Swiss sides, has left Russia's FC Alania Vladikavkaz for FC Sion.

Portuguese SuperLiga club SC Beira-Mar have landed Hassan Ahamada on loan for the rest of the season. The 23-year-old Frenchman moves from FC Nantes Atlantique, where he won the Ligue 1 title in 2000/01.

FK Crvena Zvezda goalkeeper Vladimir Dišljenković has joined FC Metalurh Donetsk. The former Crvena Zvezda captain will travel to Ukraine next week and after a medical will link up with Metalurh at their training camp in Spain. Dišljenković also had offers from France after deciding he did not want to remain at the club who finished the first half of the Serbo-Montenegrin season in second place, three points behind city rivals FK Partizan.

French team SC Bastia have recruited playmaker Stéphane Ziani from Servette FC until the end of the season. The 33-year-old had joined Servette, who are currently under administration, from FC Nantes Atlantique, where he played from 1991-95 and from 2000-04. Ziani, who spent the 1993/94 season with Bastia, becomes the Corsican club's third January acquisition after Switzerland defender Bernt Haas from West Bromwich Albion FC and striker Abdelmalek Cherrad from OGC Nice.

Portugal's A. Académica de Coimbra have signed 23-year-old Brazilian striker Marcel Augusto on a three-and-a-half year contract. The former Coritiba FC player scored eight goals in 23 games for Korean Republic side Samsung Bluewings FC in 2004. Académica are expected to bring in another ex-Coritiba player in midfielder Roberto Brum from Paraguay's Club Cerro Porteňo.
