Atlético complete last-eight lineup

Young striker Braulio Nóbrega scored twice as Club Atlético de Madrid reached the Copa Del Rey quarter-finals.

Youth team striker Braulio Nóbrega was on target twice as Club Atlético de Madrid overcame Lorca Deportiva CF tonight to book a place in tomorrow's Copa del Rey quarter-final draw.

Youthful lineup
Atlético coach César Ferrando gave starts to goalkeeper Iván Cuéllar, José Manuel Jiménez and Braulio as the Primera División side went into the game with a 3-1 first-leg lead. But the Vicente Calderón crowd grew impatient with their team for failing to seize control of the match in the first half and Fernando Torres was withdrawn just before the hour after being booked.

Delayed breakthrough
Braulio, who also scored in the first leg, made the breakthrough on 63 minutes as he found himself in a perfect position to slot in, much to the relief of the home support. Lorca were reduced to ten men when defender Eloy Pomar was red-carded for a strong challenge on 75 minutes and ten minutes later Braulio rounded off the tie in style, netting his and Atlético's second goal of the night to complete a 5-1 aggregate success.
