European honours
The 29-year-old Brazilian has moved along with his compatriot and Porto team-mate Thiago da Silva and teenage SC Braga forward Cicero. Derlei, who scored the silver goal winner in the 2002/03 UEFA Cup final against Celtic FC and the only goal of last season's UEFA Champions League semi-final defeat of RC Deportivo La Coruña, cost the Muscovites €7m.
Further signings
The 20-year-old Thiago agreed a four-year deal having only recently moved permanently from EC Juventude to Porto for €2.5m after a spell on loan. Meanwhile. 18-year-old Brazilian Cicero has signed a three-year contract with the option of a one-season extension after a €3.5m switch.
Friendly appearance
Dinamo coach Oleg Romantsev, who fielded Thiago and Cicero in a friendly against FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, said: "The new players have shown that signing them was not a mistake - each of them can strengthen Dinamo." The Russian side last week signed Danny from Sporting Clube de Portugal and Boavista FC midfielder Nuno Frechaut.
