Great spirit
Elisabeth Loisel's side had already sealed their place in next summer's UEFA European Women's Championship finals in England, but they showed great spirit to record such a comprehensive victory having been beaten 5-2 at home by Russia last week.
Polish opener
The Poles took the lead on ten minutes, only for Pichon to level in the 16th minute. There were no further goals in the first half, although the French began the second period in inspired fashion and had completed the scoring by the 57th minute.
Poland bottom
Pichon and Candie Herbert both scored in the 51st minute, Ludivine Diguelman struck two minutes later and Pichon made it 5-1 with her third goal of the day. It was France's seventh win in eight games in Group 3, a section which Poland propped up with two points.
