Clinical finish
Pretinha, one of two players in the Brazil squad without a club, scored the winning goal at the Pampeloponnisiako stadium in Patras four minutes past the hour, rounding Swedish goalkeeper Caroline Jönsson and shooting into the net from a seemingly impossible angle.
Gold medal
Pretinha's winner set up a final against the United States on Thursday at the Karaiskaki stadium in Athens. Sweden, meanwhile, play world champions Germany – beaten 2-1 by the Americans after extra time in today's other semi-final – at the same venue for the bronze medal, also on Thursday.
