The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract and at Palermo will team up again with his former midfield partner from AC Chievo Verona, Eugenio Corini. Barone, who made 33 appearances for Parma last season, is a full Italian international having made his debut for the Azzurri in the 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic in February.
