The Moscow club have reportedly paid a fee of around €150,000 for the 30-year-old striker who has signed an initial 18-month contract with Dinamo, with the option of an extension for a further 12 months.
Russian honours
Three times a Russian champion with FC Spartak Moskva, Beschastnykh started his career at FC Zvezda Moskva before moving on to Spartak and then SV Werder Bremen, Real Racing Club Santander and Fenerbahçe SK. To date he has scored 56 goals in 109 Russian top-flight games.
International career
Beschastnykh is the most prolific international striker currently active in Russian football with 26 goals in 71 games since making his debut in 1992. He played in the FIFA World Cup finals in 1994 and 2002 as well as at EURO '96™. He played his most recent game for Russia against Albania on 26 March 2003.
