Stanislav Šesták scored twice to lead champions MŠK Žilina to victory over cup winners FC Artmedia Petržalka in the Slovakian Super Cup at the National Football Centre in Senec on Sunday.
Suchánek strikes first
The former ŠK Slovan Bratislava player volleyed a spectacular winner in the closing stages to clinch victory for the champions who fought back after winger Ladislav Suchánek had put Artmedia ahead after only two minutes. The Superleague champions were not behind for long, Šesták drawing his side level eight minutes later.

Both teams used the occasion to introduce new signings, midfield player Peter Kiška and striker Ivan Bartoš making their debuts for Žilina, while defensive midfield player Róbert Novák and defender Branislav Fodrek featured for Artmedia.
