Oleg Iachthouck scored twice as RSC Anderlecht consolidated Belgian First Division top spot.

Oleg Iachthouck ensured RSC Anderlecht consolidated their position six points clear at the top of the Belgian First Division, scoring late on to ensure a 3-2 victory against R. Charleroi SC.

Early lead
The visitors took an early lead through Frank Defays in the 12th minute and doubled it after Adekamni Olufade was on target just shy of the half-hour mark. Anderlecht had to wait until the 63rd minute to halve the deficit, when Iachthouck scored the first of two goals. Nenad Jestrovic levelled six minutes later, setting the stage for the Ukrainian striker to slam in an 89th-minute winner.

Sæternes double
Bengt Sæternes was twice on target in second-placed Club Brugge KV's 3-2 defeat of KVC Westerlo. Tim Smolders opened the scoring at the outset and Norwegian striker Sæternes had made it 3-0 by the hour mark before Tosin Dosunmu and Toni Brogno staged what proved to be an ultimately unsuccessful comeback for the home side. KAA Gent game against R. Standard de Liège and Cercle Brugge's encunter with KRC Genk both finished goalless.

Solitary strike
In other games, a solitary 80th-minute strike from Laurent Delorge secured K. Lierse SK a 1-0 victory against RAA Louviéroise while Kris Buvens tucked away an 86th-minute goal to claim a 1-1 draw against R. Excelsior Mouscron, for whom Luigi Peroni had struck in the seventh minute.

Friday action
R. Antwerp FC's game against RAEC Mons and KSK Beveren's match with KFC Germinal Beerschot both ended goalless after KSC Lokeren OV had edged out K. Heusden-Zolder 3-2 on Friday.
