Heerenveen seal quadruple signing

Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen haved confirmed the signing of four promising players on full-time contracts.

SC Heerenveen have signed-up four promising young players on long-term contracts as they look to build for the future. Goalkeeper Brian Vandenbussche, defender Marcel Seip and twins Jeroen and Henrico Drost have all committed their future to the club.

Two year deal
Vandenbussche, 22, joins from Sparta Rotterdam, where he was second-choice behind Frank Kooiman. The Belgian goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a further two years.

Contract expiring
In the summer of 2001, Vandenbussche moved from Club Brugge KV to Sparta and has played 14 matches in Rotterdam so far. His current contract at Sparta expires this summer.

Seip to stay
Heerenveen also extended the contract of their promising defender Seip. The 21-year-old defender signed a new deal until the summer of 2005. Seip has been with the club since July 2001 after joining from Veendam, and broke through this season, playing 22 matches in the first team.

Twin signing
Finally, Heerenveen announced that they have signed the talented 16-year-old Drost twins. The Dutch Under-17 internationals have signed two-year contracts, again with an option for two more years.
